Last October we had a very successfultailgate party at an Oakland Athletics baseball game. So we are going to do it again. I've gotten 25 tickets to the Oakland A's - San Francisco giants game on Saturday June 25th. The particulars are as follows:

What: Oakland A's - San Francisco giants baseball game & tailgate
Where: Oakland Coliseum
When: June 25th Game time is 1:05 p.m. Tailgate will start at 10:00 a.m.
Cost: $9.00/ticket (section 325)

Food will be supllied and will cost extra. We usually have the grills going with lots of different tasty food stuffs. At the last tailgate on April 30th (we did a test run to get the kinks out) we had grilled bell peppers, asparagas, and Portobello mushrooms. There was tasty cheese and crackers along with shrimp. For the main course there was Ribeye and NY Strip steaks cooked on the grill (last year we also did chicken).

For the wines we usually bring some nice reds and start off with some Champagne. Past wines have included 1991 Montelena, 2001 Montelena, Krug Grande Cuvee, 1996 Pahlmeyer Red, 1991 Laurel Glen Cab, ...
