The last Brawl in Bayonne was a HUGE success with 10 players. I hope to match that again!

Potential Dates:

March 20 (Sunday 5:30pm) (My preference)
April 3 (Sunday 5:30pm)

Please reply with however many dates you are available for, and a preference if you like.

The food won't be like last time, but I'm hoping to do something special with the wines.

Brad

Will the computer shuffle up and deal as well? We can just do an on-line event then .....

Seriously, look forward to the donations and the box wine.

p.s.: Are the Jazins missing?

Jazins are not represented here... but I hear Mrs. Jazin is extremely busy with her new job. I hope all it well.. always great to see them.

JB has another Trenton'ite coming.. so we are going to have 10 people...

Therefore... 20 min blinds, but not going to double them. I think everyone will like the way it'll be handled.

JB, no need to bring chips, I have enough. (already got everything laid out)

Ok.. here are some things about the Bayonne Brawl III and my house rules. I've done a couple tournaments like this already, and it works out well... so trust me.

10 Players @ $60 buyin = $600 up for grabs

$60 of chips buys you:

20 white @ $25 = $500
20 red @ $50 = $1000
10 black @ $100 = $1000

Total chips = $2500
On standby - Green chips @ $500 to trade in the white chips for.

We are starting early enough to keep the first couple rounds at 30 minutes each.. giving everyone some time to get some hands in. With 10 people, the hands will go fairly slowly. After the first two rounds, the blinds will raise at every 20 minutes to make sure the game doesn't go forever. At hour 3, the blinds start going up faster. Here is the schedule:

Hour 1
Round 1: 30 min 25/50
Round 2: 30 min 50/100

Hour 2
Round 3: 20 min 75/150
Round 4: 20 min 100/200
Round 5: 20 min 125/250

Hour3
Round 6: 20 min 200/400
Round 7: 20 min 300/600
Round 8: 20 min 400/800

Hour4
Round 9: 20 min 500/1000
Round 10: 20 min 700/1400
Round 11: 20 min 1000/2000

I really don't anticipate the game going much past this level.
Therefore if the game starts at 6pm, we are on the way home by 10 or so...maybe 10:30.

Hour5
Round 12: 20 min 1500/3000
Round 13: 20 min 3000/6000

If people go out early and the blinds are too small, THE REMAINING PLAYERS CAN AGREE TO SKIP A ROUND OF BLINDS. Those out of the game have no say in the matter. Example... if there are 2 people in round 8 as it ends, they can agree to skip round 9 and go directly to round 10 for the higher blinds... then continue as normal. Players can only skip one blinds level per round. So you can go to 8, then 10, then 12, etc... if the remaining players agree to speed things up.

I have a computer program that will count the time, the rounds, the blinds, etc... so this will be really smooth and easy.

If there is anything seriously wrong with the above, let me know.. otherwise it's fairly set in stone. If the above just doesn't suit your playing style.... time to change your style.

Look forward to the game!!! See you all at 5:30pm.

It's not me. It's Kevin's brother. But if we go back to West Virginia, so be it!

See you tomorrow.
