| Okay, I'll start this one going. Depending upon where Mark and Gove are staying, any suggestions for a restaurant?

| I'm in and probably Mrs. WN, too. Being a suburbanite, I can't recommend any downtown wine-friendly restaurants. I'm sure the Chicago Wine Mafia could help pull this together. I'll email someone I know.

| You guys should email Otis or one of the other Chicago Wine Mafia members. I'm sure they'd love to participate. | | | Joe-----Wine is like potato chips around me...if it's open, it's gone. | |

| I thought of that also, and had sent a note to them Friday, so hopefully we have a good turnout. | | | |

| I was in Chicago a few years ago and visited Bin 36. Is it still around? Was very wine friendly. Any suggestions welcome since we do not have distribution there and don't know the city. We will be at an event at Cafe Brauer, Lincoln Park on Dec. 9. | | | |

| Fantastic! Mrs. O and I would love to join you. Bin 36 is a solid choice and is in an excellent location if you are staying downtown. Looking forward to it! Cheers, Otis | | | |

Bin 36 is out, as they are hosting a Champagne tasting that night, so they are not accepting dinner reservations. Looking into alternatives.
Gove, is Cal Cabs the wine theme, or something else, or no theme at all?

| My choice for theme is anything that has received praise in the postings. I'd love to try some wines that are favorites of those attending... so, mixed bag? | | | |

| Mark -
Too funny! I fly back from Nashville from a business trip at noon on 12/8. Just hate to leave the wife and the 14 month old son home alone while I cruise into the city for a wine party......
But she keeps saying it's ok to go.....
More later in the week....
BTW, my 2001 Second Chance/Howell Mtn. Mags finally found their way to my office. My name wasn't on the shipping lable or packing list!

| I'm in for sure! Do we know what wines are being brought? With 20 people, that's some tiny pours if everyone is going to get a taste from a 750...
What to bring, what to bring....

Glad that you are going to make it. As for the shipping labels, I took care of it. You know, I like to keep things interesting... two different release letters......no name on the box..... now I have to think of something else.
I'm going to bring a couple of 750's of each. (No, I'm not saying what it is)
