| Mark Neal (of Neal Family Vyds.) and I will be on the road and would love to connect in the following cities with VinoCellar members for fun evenings of food and wine. We met a group in DC last April and had a wonderful time. Suggestions for restaurants (Cab friendly of course) and help organizing are greatly welcomed.
Chicago, December 8th (Wednesday)
New York, January 27th (Thursday). See Revlis post, 11/4/04
Boston, January 29th, (Saturday)
Anyone interested?

Haven't been to NYC since last year. Think we can talk the spouses into this?

| Tough. But not impossible depending on how it is "sold". | | | Joe-----Wine is like potato chips around me...if it's open, it's gone. | |

| It may take the following in our house: Krug and/or Burgundy and Barolo along with some of my risotto. Maybe some creme brulee. It CAN be done. hahahaha[evil laughter] | | | |

| Gove,
I'll be the first to throw my hat in the ring for Chicago. I'm a big fan of your stuff and would love to join you during your Chicago visit in December. Will you be in the city or suburbs?

| Definitely interested. With NYC being on a Thursday, and Boston on a Saturday, I'd say the odds favor Boston. | | | Beta testing a new signature. | |

| In the interest of the locals helping out with organization, perhaps the person putting together the details of each event should post a separate thread in the Wine Events section.
I'll start it off with the sign-up list for the NYC event.... once I have an idea of the number of people, I'll select the location.

| No Washington DC this time, Gove? Are you guys pouring at McArthur's Barrel Tasting next year?
You guys should definitely take advantage of this - we had the privilege of dining with them last March and it was a blast.

| Jaimetown is exactly right! But if Whiner shows up somebody has to make sure he stays awake! Gove- Hope to see you and Mark and McAuthur's but if not maybe in Boston in January. | | | "It's better to have your enemies inside the tent pissing out, then outside the tent pissing in." -- Lyndon Johnson | |

| Just an FYI I'll post here as well.
If anyone makes a weekend out of the NYC dinner on Thursday night, I'll be happy to arrange a Fri and/or Saturday dinner as well. | | | If you drink wine, you get smarter....

| Interested! Carol and I were talking about making a return visit to NYC in late January anyway, so this is PERFECT timing.
Stemor, party of 2 for NYC. | | | Cheers, y'all

The party was a blast. Except someone fell asleep. We will be in DC, dinner after the event like last year?

| Mark:
If you and Gove attend the Macarthur's Barrel Tasting like you did last year and go out for dinner afterwards, can my wife and I join you at your table this time instead of being at the table next to you as it was at Mendocino Grill this past April? Of course I'd have to blow off my parents and daughter, but that shouldn't be too difficult...
