| The NJ Hold 'em tour returns to my place to save everyone the drive to Philly. Kevin has agreed to pick up the bill on the wines and food. The date as of right now will be Sun Nov 21st at 6:30pm. Let me know if anyone has a problem with this date and/or time. So far...

| How late? We probably will eat first and the game will start at 7:15 or so. Worst case scenario...we take your blinds as it comes around the table.

| anthony we are so confident that a trip to pgh will not be required that we are happy to answer in the affirmative. we welcome your money - i guess i AM issuing a challenge on behalf of all the talented players here in the nj/ny area. note: this challenge cannot be extended to other forumites, it is meant only for anthony as a special case vt | | | |

| Kyle was first out. I was second out. I was all in with JB, we had almost the exact same chip count... I had AQo on the draw, and JB had KJo. Then the flop comes.... JB got the J on the turn I think.... So my better hand lost to JB's still very good hand.
Don't remember how JB went out, but it was when both players had good cards. Then Ashish, with most of the chips, played tight... but couldn't hold on. Kevin took it.
There were some very good wines, all purchased in Pennsylvania I believe. Two Pinots, a malbec, a '01 Numanthia, and two WS 94 and WS95 Chilean wines. I was able to guess the tempranillo from spain, and was able to guess the Concha y Toro from chile, and that the second one was from Chile as well... so my night was not competely lost. :-)
As for actual wine names, I'll let JB fill in the blanks.

| It was actually the 2001 Numanthia. It's just starting to settle down and integrate itself a little bit. It got better and better throughout the night... definitely decant at least a couple hours if you open one.
The Chilean wines have their typical green/weed quality to them that I don't really enjoy, even though they were definitely good wines, they won't ever make my WOTN I don't think. (or hope) | | | If you drink wine, you get smarter.... | |
