| As some of you know (prior to the birth of this forum) I was in the planning stages of a huge off-line event in Napa in November of this year. Some of you had responded that you were interested in attending. That event is still in the works. However, due to the change in peoples' participation in one forum or another, I would like to get a final, accurate headcount as to who is still planning to attend this event. If it turns out that the participation has dwindled below the minimum number of attendees, the event will be canceled. Please reply to the new email I have established if you ARE attending. If you are not attending, DO NOTHING. I only want emails from those who will be attending. winemaster@winesnobz.com I will reply to your email with a request for more info. Thanks!!! | | |

| Brent: If you remember that I mentioned that I am a MAY BE (as always). With the baby, I can never plan that far ahead for the obvious reasons. So, I will let you know. What is the cut-off date? Thank You. | | | |

| Sorry, Gus. My mistake. I knew I had some emails at work that I had yet to forward. It is now fixed. The party would not be the same without you and Katy. | | | |

| OK...I am in the process of finalizing the plans for the Nov. event. I should be able to get the info together sooner than I had hoped. Possibly by the end of the week. I am waiting on 2 phone calls from Napa. Once I get those, I will be posting the FINAL details and start asking people to make their reservations. | | | |

| I just got off the phone with Kim Ruiz at the Napa Valley Marriot. They will be sending me a contract that will be due on March 26th. They are requiring me to plop down a $3,000 deposit. I have secured 15 rooms at the Marriot. I am asking those of you attending AND staying at the hotel to make a $100.00 deposit per room for the event so we can pay the deposit. Here is a breakdown of the week: Wednesday, Nov. 5th - Check-In; Kick-Off Wine and Cheese Reception with wines donated by JEREMY!!! (Possible surprise speaker... ) Thursday, Nov. 6th - All day tours and tastings with LUNCH and TRANSPORTATION provided to and from the Marriot. Dinner is ON YOUR OWN. Friday, Nov. 7th - All day tours and tastings with LUNCH and TRANSPORTATION provided to and from the Marriot. Dinner is ON YOUR OWN. Saturday, Nov. 8th - All day tours and tastings with LUNCH and TRANSPORTATION provided to and from the Marriot. Farwell Dinner Party that night...(more surprises... ) Sunday, Nov. 9th - Departure I do not have a final cost at this very moment. However, I should have one by Thurs. or Friday of this week at the latest. I have set up a PayPal account at winemaster@winesnobz.com for the receipt of the deposits. If you have any concerns or questions whatsoever, please feel free to contact me at that same email address. Should the event get canceled for ANY reason, everyone will receive a FULL and UNCONDITIONAL 100% REFUND!!! Thanks!!! | | | |
