I can't remember the names of most of the wines other than Dominus 1989. Which I thought was nice with a real bordeux style as expected. Rev and Ojeff thought it was a touch over the hill perhaps, with strong oak flavor and fading fruit. I enjoyed it quite a bit, since I enjoyed the restrained fruit aspect. 92 for me.

There were a few more wines, which once they're named I can rate. All was delicious and the food was amazing as well. There was some lovely pate and foie gras brought in from switzerland which stated off a lovely evening. As all can attest, I loved the sauteed mushroom selections that went with the steak!

Hey ojeffso, I hope you had better luck with the 1987 Dominus than the 2 bad bottles of 1985 Dominus we had up here with Rev & Mrs. ojeffso?

seek-better than the 85, but still disappointing to me. i took no notes, but wrote down my impressions after everyone left. i will be posting them tomorrow.
