In honor of Board-O's return to South Florida, another offline is being planned...

Date: Wednesday, July 28, 2004.

Place: Cafe L'Europe, Palm Beach

Time: TBD

Attendees: Rothko (2); Board-O (2); Emilio (2); and [Insert Your Name Here]

As you might expect from the name, Cafe L'Europe serves excellent continental cuisine. During the summer, they charge no corkage for red wines (pre-1997) or whites (any vintage), so we are going to have dinner there. Warning: Cafe L'Europe is pretty expensive (so bring your Visa Card! )

Please post if you are interested in attending. We'll exchange emails soon to coordinate on what every one is bringing.

The response is overwhelming. I'm thinking of a magnum of Hermitage "La Chapelle" from Jaboulet, maybe a 1982 or 1985, but I can bring just about anything.

Yes, I am impressed that there are even 30+ views at this point.

As for the wine, anything you bring will be fine.

You know what? As long as you and Emilio and spouses are there, I'm happy.

Rothko, you know ALL of us VC Crü folks would love to attend! Ah if only we all lived in the same town! Then again, I'd probably only be able to show up for every third or fourth thing.

Rothko, we found a great small, modestly-priced French restaurant in Boca with a $10 corkage fee. Unfortunately, they're closed for the month of July. Maybe December?

tjaehnigen, you and the gang would be welcome any time!

Board-O, that would be great. It's always good if we can try to meet in the middle with our Miami brethren.

Not that anyone in this Forum might care, but I have a reservation made for July 28th.

If any new-to-Vinocellar types would like to join us, just reply here!
