| Beginning this year, and for many years to follow, we will be putting on a "Cult Challenge". Every year, there are new wineries, and hot debate over which wines deserve the honor "Hottest cult". This year, will it be Sloan? Bressler? Or will Harlan & Shafer HSS continue to dominate? Decide for yourself! Come to beautiful San Jose on the evening of October 2 and taste all of the top cults from 2000. Complete details will be forthcoming over the next couple months. Henceforth the first Saturday in October shall be deemed "Day of judgement for Cults". Just like your favorite mailing lists, priority will be assigned to those who sign up early and often October 1, 2005 will be the 2001 Cult challenge. Better sign up now so you don't miss out on future tastings! Your hosts, DavidN Randy_wigginton | | |

| I'll be there in 2005 but 2004 may not be doable - I am on a plane back from Africa on Oct 1/2. | | | |

| Bressler, the way you folks harvest it will be another month before you even think of picking any grapes. Shouldn't be a problem | | | |

| I'll be in the bay area on business this week, so put me down for two - my wife can fly out for the weekend (hopefully).
How are you handling the wines ? I don't have a lot of cults, but I can bring some 2000 Grace Family.

| I would love to come--but I cannot. I will be visiting Napa the 2nd week of September--no way I can get back that quickly (at least without separation papers! ). | | | |

| If the grandparents can schedule a visit for Oct 2, elephants and I are in.
I'll email elephants the link now and see what we can do.

| I'm with Bressler... Couldn't even think about scheduling during the months of September and October...
Sounds like a ton of fun, though.

| I'll be juggling a Bat Mitzvah in East Hampton and a harvest in Napa -- don't think I'll be able to make it.
Sure sounds like fun though. | | | Randy Sloan<br>Match Vineyards

| I wonder if I would be successful in moving my wedding a few weeks later so I can move by Bachelor party to the next week and attend this. Maybe I could just make this my bachelor party. Priorities | | | "Everyday is worthy of a glass of sparkling wine" - Andrea Immer MS | |
