How does Sunday, June 6 work for everybody? Ideally Saturday nights are best due to the 2am finish times, but I believe JB works late on Sat --- so Sunday it will be. (JB - If that changes, let me know)

Wines & food are complimentary of the best (luckiest?) poker player from the last round (ie me).

I can start at any time. I believe jb's schedule is our limiting factor....

Not really interested in playing, but would like to join the game of wine-drinking, if that's ok. That happens to be my fav game!

We should increase the minimium bets and the blinds (as ant suggested) so we can move the game faster. At the same time, we cannot overdo it - need to make sure we don't affect the fun-factor!

lcc: come on, you know how to play cards, dont'ya? we need more money in the pot!

Yeah, lcc, did you actually think you would just come over and drink all my wine w/o making a donation to the pot?

It's been ages since I played poker. And, not much of a card player/gambler anyway. Does not turn me on. Now, wine turns me on!

But seriously, there is no way I can stay up as late as you guy do. I won't be able to function @ work. And, my project currently is a very demanding one.

I am more than happy to donate Wine though!

I'd like to come, but it's so late that last time I took off Monday. I won't know for a while. If there is still a place available and I can make, I'll come win back my money.

I'm in on the 6th. I get off at 5 and can be at your place at 5:30, Short. If everyone is there, we can get started right away.

Sounds good. Last time we were all there by 5.30 but didn't start until 6.30. Let's change that this time around.

I'll have everything ready (wines / food) by game time.

So far we have:

ttepper -

My house is a 3 minute walk from the New Providence train station. That should make your commute quite easy......you in?

Reminder -

The next round of poker is this Sunday afternoon - start time is 5:30pm. I'll have the wines and food ready so we can jump right in.

I have plenty of Spieglau stems (bordeaux and burg). If you want something more extravegant, then please bring your own.

lcc -

Sure - you are welcome to come. But please remember that the rest of us will be quite involved in the game and may not be able to carry on much of a conversation.
