| With apologies to the DC Cru, we'll be holding a Hampton Roads, VA, mini-offline on Saturday, March 27th at 99 Main in Newport News. Guests so far include Gary, me, and potentially Dr. T., plus a few non-VC folks.

| Let's each offline raise a glass to theother at some point...9:23pm, to be completely random. Maybe one day, we can get together for the uber-offline. | | | Visit The Butcher Block at http://www.butcherblocktampa.com/ | |

| I'd suggest someplace like Richmond for an uber-offline, assuming there's a decent restaurant there It's about halfway in between and I imagine we can get something other than fried chicken. | | | Visit The Butcher Block at http://www.butcherblocktampa.com/ | |

| Well, VA is BYOW-unfriendly, whereas DC is tres kewl in that respect. Still, we could have a big picnic, right? | | | www.roguefood.com -- www.cellartracker.com | |

| Reservations are made at 99 Main, for 7:30pm (that's 1930 for you military types on Sat 27 March. I spoke to the very nice Christine, who I'm going to go over and meet during the week (prob Tues-Weds-ish) to take a look at the wine list. This brings up the point of offline etiquette. I understand your mileage may vary, but what have you folks found to be the smoothest ways of handling the damage at the end of the night? Itemize? Total and divide by X? I'm all for smooth and easy, but I know some people are downright picky (his salad cost a dollar more than mine!!!). | | | Visit The Butcher Block at http://www.butcherblocktampa.com/ | |
