As you probably know, our 2nd annual Chicago Pinot Days is coming up fast! Although we have a dinner at Bin36 (that is nearly sold out) many producers do not have anything to do Friday night so we thought we would plan a informal off-line. This is a chance for you Chicagoans to meet some of the winemakers, enjoy many of their terrific pinots (we'll have 20-25 different wines) and simply have some fun.

Pinot Days Chicago Offline Dinner at Le Lan on Friday, November 14th.

Attendees will include:
Steve Rigisich, Pinot Days
Bob Nye, Goldeneye
Adam Satchwell, winemaker for Shady Lane
Katy Leese, Owner of Picket Fence
Denise Shurtleff, winemaker for Cambria
Roger Roessler, Owner of Roessler Cellars
Annette Hoff - winemaker for Cima Collina
Steven Rogstad, winemaker for Cuvaison Estate Wines
Michael Roth, winemaker for Demetria Estate
Damien Casten - Scherrer and Olson Ogden distributor. Damien will also bring two special wines from Weingut Keller - their 2005 Spatburgunder "Burgel" and their 2005 Spatburgunder.


COST OF DINNER: You will cover the cost of your own dinner, $80 (this includes tax and tip). The producers and I will furnish the vats of wine! What a deal.....

Pho Braised Beef Short Ribs with Napa Cabbage, Asian Pear-Fennel Salad & Parsnip-Horseradish Puree
