| Would you really consider winter, winetex? That would be fun!

| I would consider winter, but might have more difficulty convincing my better half :) | | | 2008: the end of an error | |

| Would you really consider winter, winetex? That would be fun! Winter would be fun but I don't handle cold too well these days. :) I can say that as one of the few people other than you that have actually lived in Alaska. | | | |

| I lived in Anchorage for 3 years...and I would rather spend the winter there than in Omaha, where I also lived.
Of course, now that I live in Florida, my blood has thinned to the point that anything under 70F seems chilly. :p | | | Visit The Butcher Block at http://www.butcherblocktampa.com/ | |

| Since the poll function is kaput for kpak
I'd like to just ask those interested to let me know if you prefer
Feb/March 2010 (maybe good for Aurora Viewing)
May 2010 (lots of daylight) but would have to be early May because we're going to Africa in late May
Aug/Sept 2010 (nice colors - flowers or foliage)
I can start to work on venues, etc. Things book up so far in advance here and the cruise lines get an the first chance at room blocks, way before the rest of us do, therefore I would need to get started about 18 months out. Other times would work but are more difficult to set up group rates | | | In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is...

| I would be particularly interested in Aurora viewing myself. What can we expect as the average temperature for each of the three timeframes? | | | 2008: the end of an error | |
