Richard, sounds great ! What is Frascati's corkage policy ? I'll have a bottle or two (probably a CA Cab and/or Pinot) that I don't want to haul back to TX with me.

Cable car looks very convenient for me, but I'm also open to sharing a cab. tanglenet, let me know what works for you and Marilyn.

Corkage is $20 for the first bottle, $25 for the second.  Buy a bottle off the list and they'll waive one corkage fee.  We could always buy an inexpensive bottle of white to start and then decide what to open.  I'll bring a bottle and I'm sure Kevin will too, so I doubt we'll open more than one of yours.

Richard, I'm glad that Yuriko can make it. We enjoy her company. And 3 bottles + 1 off the list sounds fine with me.

FYI, Marilyn's office moved to California St. near Market.

Scott, we would be happy to meet you there or meet you at the restaurant. If you want to meet us at her office (I will be taking BART into SF) PM me your cell phone. Otherwise, you can take a cab to the restaurant by yourself and we can share a cab back to your hotel and to BART after the dinner.

Let's do Pinot!

It appears now that I could do something Friday or Saturday night. Please post updates if some sort of critical mass gets going for either of those days. I could drive down to the South Bay.

I just though I'd post in this thread to let Randy know that there are people out here reading this section.

Carry on!

I'll probably take the cable car to the restaurant and we can share a cab back after dinner.  Give me a chance to play tourist !
I have a 2005 Kutch RRV with me, so I'll bring that.

Great.

By the way, bring some cash. The Cable Car is up to $5 or so for the ride.

The last time that I was on it, a family of four hopped on. They paid $20 to go 2 blocks. Needless to say, they weren't too happy.
