It is official. I will be in San Francisco and Napa (2 days in each) from December 1 through the 5th with my girlfriend celebrating my 40th birthday. I am open for an offline in either San Fran or Napa. I will flying into San Fran and staying there on the 1st and the 2nd, then heading up to Napa for 2 nights on the 3rd and 4th. Who is interested in a nice gathering of wine, food and good old fashioned fun. Post your thoughts and ideas. I know this is still 4 months away but I like to start things early.

I'm game, but my wife told me last night that we are going to NY "after Thanksgiving". Since we haven't made plans yet, and my schedule is based on her schedule, things may change by then . So, a tentative yes in SF for 1 or 2 here.

Harvest should be over by then! Sounds like fun.

An excuse to hike up to Napa is always welcome. I'll monitor this thread to see what develops.

Well it is about a month away so I thought I would rekindle this thread.  Is anyone up for a gathering on December 3rd. We are staying in St. Helena and a gathering at a BYO friendly restaurant would be great.  If anyone wants to chat offline my email is justinhome at msn dot com.

I'll stay tuned but the first week of December is already pretty busy for me. Put me down as a "definite maybe"!

I'd make it to an SF gathering if there was one to be had. Since your out of the area, maybe an outside bbq by the SF bay looking out at the Golden Gate bridge might be fun. Only problem is the weather here. If anyone is up for grilling out some fillets and having some Parkerized Cabs or even some zins let me know.

We are going to have a gathering on Sat 12/1 in San Francisco at a restaurant called TWO.  Please post here  or email me if you would like to attend.

I have a table reserved for 7:15pm on Sat 12/1 at a the restaurant called TWO. I have heard good things about the service and food. Their corkage is $15 but is waived if we get something of their list. Please post here if you can make it. I can also be reached at justinhome at msn dot com. Their website is two-sf.com

TWO is the second restaurant at 22 Hawthorne Street with TWO chefs. It’s a casual and contemporary restaurant with a groovy and funky design featuring many natural wood surfaces, a copper and concrete bar and wild coconut light fixtures. The menu is a reflection of both chefs’ evolving culinary tastes, and the food is lusty and satisfying.

We’re located in the exciting SOMA district of San Francisco, just a short stroll from the MOMA, the Moscone Center and Union Square. The restaurant is located in the original 1922 headquarters for the San Francisco Newspaper Company.
