LOL Well, I'm flying in damnit. And I'm drinking a bottle of 03 Foley Claret! If Randy and I have to move this gig to Tlaquepaque, I'm still drinking Foley Claret!

It does appear that the numbers we need are dwindling. Maybe try to re-schedule the full blown event for sometime after the new year, and maybe do something less formal on the 17th?

Okay, so it looks like the consensus is to postpone the smackdown until early next year and to go ahead with an offline on 17th anyway. Is that right?
I've spoken to the Lion & Compass; because we are a smaller party we can use the "library room".
We can either just order from the regular menu and pay $15 corkage, or stick with the $100 a head all-in deal.
Personally I think the flat rate is a good deal, especially since we have no idea how many bottles will be brought.
I'm going to start a new thread. Follow-ups there please.
