Very closed in the nose, more tame and almost more expressive in the palate. I suspect heat abuse. Though this is a very backward label 5 years in bottle can usually be helped by a little decanting. I've had the 93 and 96 and this was nowhere near the quality I remember. Some other time, perhaps...
