Moderate intensity, leather, spice, cream, raspberry, black cherry, smoke and vanillin.  Full body, medium complexity, moderate acidity and tannin.  Palate mirrors the nose, modern with long length and concentration, balanced. 90pts.

Hmm, Jay Miller (nickname "Get Real") smacked this one with 98 points. Clearly it won't be that but do you think it's worth ~$65 or so?

Did he score Termes 98pts, or Termanthia 98pts?

Oops, wrong wine.  It wasn't the Termes.

The Numanthia was scored 98 I believe and the Termes 93-94 (or threabouts). I bought a number of each - the former for about $60-65 a bottle and the latter for $19 -20 or so (& picked up 2 mags of the Numanthia for approx $120 I believe)...I think both will be wonderful. I have no plans to drink the Numanthia any time soon (haven't even received most of my bottles)...but I may crack a Termes sometime soon - perhaps by the Fall...I'm in no hurry (still have an 03 or so around)
