I forgot that I didn't originally do a note on this one.  It was superb.Â

  • 2000 Clos Erasmus Priorat - Spain, Catalunya, Priorat (2/3/2007)
    Dark purple in color; This wine was incredibly focused with dark fruit, mineral and anise aromas and flavors and more minerals and spice on the finish. With excellent balance it was stunningly good. It was probably a couple of years away from true secondary characteristics. WOW. [$$$ on release; Drinking well now but could go for years; if I had more I would wait at least 2+ years for the next bottle] (95 pts.)
