Tasted June 17, 2006 at a retail tasting. Opened and served immediately in a Riedel Vinum Cabernet Sauvignon glass. Ruby color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of chocolate, a mix of dark fruits and a touch of leather. Flavors of red licorice, red berries and some red cherries. Firm tannins with fresh acidity. Drink over the short term. Based on the local retail price of $28.89 I’d say the value here is acceptable. (88 pts.)
