2001 Bodegas Roda Rioja Roda II Reserva - Spain, La Rioja, La Rioja Alta, Rioja (6/11/2008) WIML90-91 Tasted June 11, 2008 at an offline. Opened and served immediately. Purple color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Just a bit of barnyard on the nose with some notes of smoked meat, plums and currants. Flavors of plum, cherry and berry. Bright acidity, medium to firm tannins, medium to full body. Drink now with a decant or continue to hold. (91 pts.)

Joe, glad to read that your bottle was better than the one that I had about 5 month ago. The one that I cracked seemed tired and old. Maybe an off bottle... Maybe have to try again soon... Dhaval
