THREE EVENTS NOT TO BE MISSED
56° Wine Presents 2nd Annual Fall Wine Tasting Benefit
November 13, 2005 ~ 4-7 pm
Hamilton Farm Golf Club, Gladstone
56° Wine & Master of Wine Chris Cree, in partnership with the Philharmonic Orchestra of New Jersey, present the wine tasting event of the fall season, “Discover the Wines,” to benefit the non-profit orchestra. In addition to sampling over 80 hard-to-find wines from small, family-owned wineries, Philharmonic musicians will serenade guests and hors d’ oeuvres prepared by Hamilton Farm’s Executive Chef, Bruno Gubelmann will be passed.
Two educational wine seminars will be presented by Cree, New Jersey’s only Master of Wine and one of only 23 individuals in the U.S. and just 248 worldwide who have earned this distinction.
Sparkling Wine and Champagne for the Holidays (3-3:45 pm): Join us as we taste through a wide range of bubby from the celebrated Champagne region of France. Rose, Blanc de Blancs and Vintage Bruts will be featured from a number of small, family-owned domains. See (and taste!) for yourself why small grower Champagnes are the hottest trend in bubbly! Light hors d’oeuvres will be served to enhance the tasting.
The Wines of the Rhone (4:30-5:45 pm): The Rhone region of France produces some of the finest red wines in the world. Solid, full bodied and rich, they are perfect for winter’s heartier fare. What might be an even bigger surprise are the lush, mouth filling whites! Taste, learn and enjoy as we sample wines made from Viognier, Marssanne, Roussanne, Syrah, Grenache and the rest of the Rhone varieties. Light hors d’oeuvres will be served to enhance the tasting.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Philharmonic Orchestra of New Jersey’s educational programs this season. The Philharmonic Orchestra of New Jersey is a not-for-profit professional symphony orchestra that promotes the lifelong benefits derived from classical music listening by offering music listening education to diverse audiences through concerts and events in a wide range of venues and communication media.
Reserve your tickets today! Tickets to the benefit tasting are $125. Seminars tickets are $50 each.
