First up on our busy schedule is an exceptional Pinot Noir tasting in association with Pinot Days 2007 with several winemakers who are in town for this remarkable event and will be appearing at our Wine Bar.

Next! You can never get enough Pinot Noir, so join us Wednesday, June 27th, from 4:30-7:30pm, when we welcome Susan Pey, Owner of Pey-Marin and Mount Tamalpais Wineries, to our Wine Bar. Susan will be sharing her delicious Pinot Noir with our guests along with several other of her delectable wines. You can't get much more local than these wineries, located just across the Golden Gate Bridge, in Marin. Besides being a stone's throw away, these wines are some of the more popular wines in the shop.

Jonathan and Susan Pey have extensive backgrounds in the wine industry that have taken them all over the world, from Europe to Australia and back to California. Jonathan studied in France and has worked for Louis Jadot in Burgundy, Penfolds in Australia, and Robert Mondavi and Sterling in Napa Valley. Susan attended college in Italy and, upon returning to the states to finish her degree, soon began her lengthy career as Wine Director for the Il Fornaio Restaurant Group. This depth of experience on their parts served them well when they decided to establish their own winery.

Come meet Susan, enjoy a taste of her wide array of wines, and you are sure to strike up a lively conversation with this energetic, charming industry veteran.
