The recent research articles that showed how good a siesta is for your heart - by making you relax - are fine, but who has a boss that will allow you a 30 minute nap after lunch?

Isn't a glass or two of a really enjoyable wine when you get home just as good a way to relax?

if you wait until you get home for the glass of wine, you could also take a nap, no? the point of the nap being healthy is that it's in the middle of the day, when your boss won't let you.

i'm gonna go see if they prefer me drinking or me napping at lunch. i have no problem with either.

If I drank at lunch I would HAVE to take a nap. I already get alittle sleepy after lunch.

I know I've seen some articles indicating that more and more companies are thinking about allowing naps in the afternoon. I think as long as your employees get their job done and are happy you let them do what they want. If they abuse the situtation then you need to start pulling in the reigns.
