We're getting ready to make dinner reservations for our upcoming trip to LaJolla and found a restaurant called George's at the Cove. Their website shows a good menu with a good wine list. Have anyone eaten there? Any comments?

It's been several years, but I loved it the last time we were there. Beautiful view, great food and our waiter was the best waiter I've had in years.

We had dinner at George's at the Cove in LaJolla last Wednesday night. Great ambiance with great food. I don't remember what my wife had for her starter but she had some sort of duck for her entree. I started with a salad of mixed greens with sauteed mushrooms with a balsamic vinegar dressing. Followed by herbed monkfish over greens and pureed cauliflower. Amazing tastes. We had a Miner Family 2001 Gary's Vineyard pinot noir that was just fantastic. I'd recommend this restaurant again and again.
