Has anyone stayed at the Montecito Inn, in Santa Barbara, CA? Any comments as to it's quality/etc.?

I just made reservations at the property based on how it looks on their web site and would love to hear anyone's thoughts.

I know very little about the place. It is in a nice area with a small business district of upper-end shops and several very good restaurants.

Eat at Lucky's just a few doors down from the hotel. Trattaria Mollie is some of the best Italien in town and it is across the street from the hotel(we like Olio e Limone downtown best). Caba is just across the street also serving "gourmet" mexican food.

NIPPERS is a very good restaurant review sight for Santa Barbara.
