| Speaking of butchers ... we had a great Côte de Boeuf at a small bistro run by a former butcher. It's called Le Severo and it's located out in the 14e, although just a couple of blocks from a metro station. It's tiny and reservations are a must. Very limited menu - just meat - and incredible fries. The wine list is written in chalk, filling one wall, and had lots of reasonably priced choices.
Highly recommended if you're looking for a red meat fix ! | | | |
