| Yes, but only as a starting point for a bareboat sailing trip to the rest of the Virgin Islands, or as a change-of-planes stop-over on the way to Virgin Gorda. If your are going to go in the direction of St. Thomas, you should go just a teeney bit further and go to St. John's or Virgin Gorda. Seriously. If you are researching the region, do yourself a favor and look up Caneel Bay, or better still, Little Dix Bay. Also, Biras Creek Resort, Mango Bay Resort, Mahoe Bay Resort, Nail Bay Resort, Leverick Bay Resort, Bitter End Yacht Club, Peter Island Resort and plenty others on Tortola, Virgin Gorda and St. John's. St. Thomas is a "secretarial pool, cruise ship port, duty free shopping dump" compared to these other neighboring islands. | | | Beta testing a new signature. | |

| Thanks guyz! I've started looking @ Tortola & Virgin Gorda. The resorts you mention Jimmy all look great! It will be the 3 of us. I am doing some calculations & for the 3 of us it is turning out to be damn expensive. If only the 2 of us, that would be a diff story. Any other resorts on either Isle not as expensive but still nice! Any @ all?
P.S.: I know that Travelrep works with the Elite Island Resorts Group. And, they have a resort on Tortola called Long Bay Beach Resort & Villas. Any one been to this resort on Tortola? | | | |

Yup, you've got that right...my client, Elite, does own Long Bay Beach Resort. We position it as a 4 star property, EP or all-inclusive, with a range of accommodation types. I stayed there about 5 years ago, just after we took it over and I found it to be a nice property. Not the most deluxe of our resorts, but certainly up there. Have you gone to our website? www.eliteislandresorts.com. Check it out and let me know if I can be of any assistance.

| Thanks guyz! I am still looking around, pricing around. Any recommendations for any of the 3 Caymans or St Croix, St John? | | | |

Unfortunately, I don't know much about the Cayman Islands. I'd say stay away from St. Croix. St. John has a very nice Westin and Caneel Bay, I think...of the two, I'd go for the Westin.
Just my two cents...
