I have a meeting Santa Cruz, my wife and I will be staying San Jose Feb 14-17. If anyone could give me a recommendation for wineries which we should visit??  I have a few ideas ( I was thinking about going to Ridge) but I would love anyone else's input.

Thanks

They also have horseback rides if you want, but do this prior to drinking all that wine.

If you are going to Ridge ... a stop at Picchetti is worthwhile. The tasting room is huge and their assortment of wines are pretty good. They are also on Montebello Rd.

If you like Pinot ... stop at David Bruce, Savannah-Chanelle and Testarossa.

Byington is just down the road from David Bruce and has some nice Cabs and Bordeaux-style blends.

There are plenty of others, but I have yet to visit most of them

I've been back for awhile, but I've been remiss in reporting back my experiences in Santa Cruz, but stay tuned I will spill it all today.

Cheek it out,
