| Tbird, Geoffrey's looks gorgeous. I don't know what the food is like. However, if you go the Santa Barbara route, I would go with Bouchon over Wine Cask. Hell, I like Downey's a lot as well, but it isn't the sexiest room in town. Great food though. But Bouchon would be my first choice.

| jb, me and the mrs have been to bouchon, and altho i have been to wine cask a few times, she's never eaten there. she wasn't overly impressed with bouchon. she's a "picky" eater(them damn vegetarians are hard to please!). neither of us have been to geoffrey's. that's kind of why i narrowed it down to the two. | | | |

| Michael,
We made our reservations for this weekend a few minutes ago. Don't worry, we won't be at The Wine Cask.
Saturday night is Olio e' Limone. Sunday night is Lucky's (first time).

| TBird,
Ya got me thinkin'.
I think you should go on down to Malibu. You two aren't going to want to drive all the way home from SB after a wonderful evening of food, wine and romance. You would be a lot closer to home and a little more romance.
Call me though if it is Wine Cask.
I'll raise a glass at 6:30 Sunday. Happy anniversary.

| When I used to live in LA we went to Geoffrey's quite a bit - food is good; restaurant, ambience and scenery are great. | | | |
