I am heading to NYC in early January and hoping to get to Per Se. Will keep my fingers crossed while dialing at 10 am.

Is Le Bernadin that tough? I've always found spots at reasonable times on OpenTable.com, though admittedly haven't looked for it in over a year or so.

I got through the reservation line very quickly this morning so I thought I was in luck and then they informed me that they close the first 10 days of January. Will have to try again some other trip.
