Help!  I'll be in Krakow for over a week in November.  Although I don't hold expectations of a 5-star experience, does anybody have any recommendations for quality dining and/or wining opportunities?

I'm thinking of bringing a case of good wine with me.  Any idea what the BYO policies are in Poland in general and in Krakow specifically?  I'm thinking Riesling might tend to go well with Polish foods, is that a fair expectation?

Cheers, y'all

stemor, you might send an email to Vino Me. I believe he spent some time there in the past 3-4 years or so.

What?

Are you looking for a Polish forest to make some Polish paper?

In Russia most of the better restaurants are underground (literally). Walk down the main streets and when you see some steps going down "investigate". I was surprised that they have such little signage.

Have you checked the big dining rooms in the Hotels. They're usually pretty "touristized" but they should let one BYOB.

Ratings and reviews of 136 resturants.  Some look good.  I was intritiqued by Aqua & Vino.  Full Italian in Poland, with Italian wines

Thanks for your consideration of my dilemma, and the guidance you've offered.  I appreciate it a lot, and hope to use it all to make the best of this trip.

Cheers, y'all
