GO SEE LOVE!! AWESOME

My wife and I saw Love a couple of weeks ago. It was a fun show. Not as much acrobatics as "O" but Love had more energy.
If you like the Beatles, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Cirque anything is worth seeing.

"O" was very cool to see - the set for that show is amazing.

the rework of the beatles songs would be cool, heard about that on NPR.
I would make sure not to get it confused with Zumanity, the sexual one. my parents saw the Zumanity and they said it was entertaining but a little raw for them. they had a front row couch and were madly looking the other way when the cast was looking for audience member participation. they saw "O" and KA also.

Barbara and I thought "O" was the most intersting production show we have ever seen. Outstanding show.

We saw "O" years ago and liked it very much also. Definitely like nothing else.

Joe's comment about falling asleep can be applicaple at any show IMO. It's not the quality of the show. I think it is the time-zone one is in or how big a dinner one has had. My suggestion no matter what show you go to is to go to the show and have dinner afterwards. To eat a big dinner (which is pretty much mandatory in LV) and then go to a show that starts at 10:00pm is a recipe for snoring if there ever was one.

Seating is very important in these new hugmongas showrooms. Get your tickets now. Check the shows in the hotel you are staying in first. The concierege will probably be able to get some sort of "preferred" seating. Don't be scared to pay double-price for the tickets if they are in a great place. You're only there once in a great while and it is not nearly as enjoyable even at a discount price if the seats are lousy.

I remember years ago taking my family to see Sigfried and Roy. It was a dinner show and the location of one's seats/table depended on how big a tip one gave the matre'thief. For four of us I gave the guy a $50 (this was 10 years ago) which I thought was a lot of money. I did notice that other couples in line were giving the matre'a55h0le $100. Well my $50 got us so far back that the elephant on stage looked the size of a mouse. What was worse was that one could still smoke in those rooms and it was more smoggy day than anything I've ever seen in LA. Seeing what was really going on on the stage was impossible. I'll never do that again. Fortunately most of today's shows have tickets with assigned seating.

I've seen "O" twice; once in the front row and once in the back row. I enjoyed the back row more for that show because the stage is so large and there is so much going on. I guess what I mean is that, at least for that show, it really doesn't matter where one sits. Try to get closer to the middle of the seats (I mean middle side to side). There is a lot of action but it is mostly swimming stuff and can get snoring. The price of the ticket is worth it just to see the first five minutes of the show IMO. I was amazed, aghast, surprised, wowed and LOL as the curtain went up (don't tell!).

Is LOVE the Cirque about the Beatles? I haven't heard much good or bad about the thing. I do agree that pretty much anything "Cirque" should be very good. It can get old though after seeing a couple.

Really I haven't seen that many shows there though. Since I don't gamble the main reason I go to Vegas is for sight-seeing, people-watching, art displays and gastronomical excursions. If you plan on eating at Picaso or Emeril' steak joint (what's the name of that place - in the Venitian) PM me and I can get you a "connection". I know the somms there pretty well.

kpak, we always stay at the Four Seasons. It is the top 5(?) floors of the Mandalay Bay hotel, but has its own entrance - and no casino. Excellent work out facilities as well as its own pool. Perfect for those of us who like to avoid casinos.

Indeed, there are no casinos in the Four Seasons so one does not have to walk through Gomorrah to get to the elevator.  It is however very convenient to the Mandalay Bay casino.

Is the restaurant downstaires in the 4-seasons still a Trotter Steak House?Â

We are going on our way back from Seattle in November. There are almost too many choices of shows and restaurants.

Darn, we will just miss you. We are going on the 9th and leaving on the 11th. Powell Yang is driving a Magnum Offline there on November 10th.
