Anyone been to the Azores? My brother-in-law wants to plan a trip there because there are direct flights from Rhode Island (where he lives) to the Azores. If it is interesting enough, I might think about tagging along.

Any advice/info would be appreciated.

If you are a diver, there is great scuba-diving in the Azores. The water has a tendency to be somewhat rough soemtimes, but its still great fun. I went there with my parents a few years ago when my dad was on a business trip.
