| Good info - there was also a nice thread on Priorat way before Board-O's trip that was a great dialogue: Priorat Primer | | | |

are you going to Clos Mogador?
The restaurant Rene runs is not to miss, that was my highlight of the trip last year.
I was impressed by Board-O's notes, he did one heck of the job and covered lots of grounds. | | | http://NothingControversial.com

| T, how many days you going to be there? we had only 3 for the entire Barcelona/Priorat region and it wasn't enough. Will you be driving stick shift? Keep in mind - street signs are optional on Barcelona streets and in the country side they are practically non existant. Small request from local grape growers: while you are there - improve the terroir! http://nocomments.com/2/Spain/Priorat/imagepages/image14.html | | | http://NothingControversial.com | |

| LOL we will be there(barcelona) a full 7 days(excluding travel time). at least 2 of those will be dedicated to priorat, maybe 4, but probably 3(still in "negotiations" with the mrs..... ).. we're taking advantage of a recently relocated friends' 3 floor flat near the gothic "area"(?) near the cathedral(?)...i think that is good??? | | | |

That is very good, you will not nned a car until you want to leave the city. No place to park or drive it in the gothic area.

| from my expereince, staying there is better option. Don't forget, if you taste wines right, you'd be quite loaded by the end of it and driving to Barcelona isn't fun.
I slept thru my partner's curses, and only woke up in Barcelona after he missed an exit. | | | http://NothingControversial.com

If you are going there for two days I would stay out there. Imagine yoc came to visit LA and wanted to taste wine in Ojai while you were there
