On Friday, MLV and I are off to Park City, Grand Tetons and Yellowstone with one night in Seattle for our much needed summer adventure. We are taking a case of wine or so with us and will report back.

Thought yo'd buy wine and fill the empty case on the way back. You got to re-cycle those cases.

Nah, we have so much coming in no need to schlepp it. We are also headed to California later this year.

You know, I hear Jackson Hole, WY is kind of a kick-a$$ place, right at the base of the Tetons. We drove through it beaucoup years ago, didn't stop. Too bad...

Jackson Hole is terrific.

Tetons/Yellowstone are wonderful.

Have a great time!

If you check in while travelling, here's a brief posting on Jackson Hole dining spots. Both Utah and WY are BYO friendly.

We are back. The trip was great. Will have a longer report later but in terms of dining highlights:

1. In Park City, Cucina Toscana was excellent. I believe corkage was $15, not positive. We ate at our friends' house for 2 of the nights we were there, which as always was excellent.

2. Jenny Lake Lodge where we stayed had pretty good food and overall excellent service with one hiccup regarding stem ware. Corkage there and at Old Faithful in and Mammoth Hot Springs ranged from $12-15.

3. We had lunch at a little divey place in Bozeman called Soup Shack I believe that was great.

4. Both meals in Seatlle were quite good at Flying Fish and Lolo.

We are flying into Salt Lake City and driving to Yellowstone and then Grand Tetons.  Looking for some good casual places to eat.  Any suggestions?
