At Va de Vi in Walnut Creek:
The menu at Va de Vi is devoted exclusively to small plates with an emphasis on seafood. 34 dishes were offered on this visit. There is an extensive list of wines by the glass or taste to match with the food. I chose one of the eight seats at the open kitchen bar. Outdoor dining in a court in back or along the walkway near the entrance is another option. There is a lively bar scene.
