| We've got an impromptu Napa trip coming up. Unfortunately, we only have 1 day! We'll make the most of it though. Agenda is below.
Question: How would you fill in the 4:15 - 6:00pm time slot. It's a Saturday.
TIA!
10:30am: Neal
12:00pm: Lunch @ Taylors Refresher
1:00pm: Lewelling 2:30pm: Round Pond, Rutherford (Olive Oil tour, thanks for the idea, Dick Bonder)
4:15pm ????
6:00pm: Relax at Salvestrin Winery/Sunny Acres B&B, St. Helena.
8:00pm: Oysters @ Bouchon. 9:00pm: Dinner @ Bistro Jeanty

| Not sure where round pond is, but my boss had a great time at Bremer Family. Although it would work better after Neal since they are at the base of Howell Mtn. | | | Mike Coutu<br>Addicted to Wine | |

| I would make an appt. with Ric Henry and/or Mike Trujillo to go around barrel sampling and tasting at Karl Lawrence (you'll also taste Sequoia Grove stuff as well).

| You've picked a bad time. Many wineries close at 5, or even 4:30. Especially on a saturday they are not inclined to stay open late.
If you can get into pride, that is always a winner. Since you need to be in St Helena afterward, you'll be well positioned. BTW, there are some great women's clothing stores in St Helena, such as I*Elle and Foot Candy. This can make the wife feel more appreciated if you've just dropped a boatload on wine. If not, I would suggest Revana, which is just north of St Helena. Revana only has Cab, so if you don't like Cab, I would have to suggest Phelps, which is over on the Silverado Trail side of things. Phelps has some great wines, and a great view.
If you really want to do the trick, head down to Napa for Vintner's collective. They represent a wide variety of wineries, and they offer wine tasting until 6 PM.

| Give Barlow a call and see if they can accomodate you - terrific wine, good people, and you'll taste in their kitchen | | | 2008: the end of an error | |
