When you return, please let me know whether getting across Escambia Bay on I-10 is as bad as I've heard it is.

We love Destin. Great golf and tennis.

Don't miss Elephant Walk, the restaurant in Sandestin. Think "Elizabeth Taylor " meets Tommy Bahama.
The blackened lobster is to die for.

wineaux,

Going east on I-10 over Escambia Bay is down to 1 lane so it is pretty bad. We went over it on a Sat. night so traffic was mild and OK. Yesterday it was backed up for at least a mile. Both lanes are open going west so that usually would not be a problem. However yesterday we were among thousands getting out of the way of Hurricane Arlene so it was very crowded.
