Just returned from the most pleasureable business meeting and vacation in Mexico.
For those who do not like Cancun with the wall to wall hotels, and people, this is the place to be. NO VISIBLE neighbors.
We have stayed at all inclusive resorts before [Sandels, Jamaica Grande, Beaches] and found that they are wanting in service, food, ambiance, decor, and amenities.
Well this place has it all.
Each buffet had so many choices, it was impossible to see everything. The buffet layout, with 17 hot & cold stations, 6 for breads & fruits was in an area about 3,500 sq, feet. if you could not find something you wished to eat, your 'wierd'.
There are also 15 al a carte dining room. 48 buildings, 3 story each. Three main pools, beach over a mile long.
In short this place is fantastic. Was so good we extended 2 days. will go back in a heart beat.
Entertainment pavilion was huge, and the entertainmant was good. They also had an ampitheater for braodway shows.
They have Mexican wine on draft [Vino Tinto & Vino Blanco], but they do have good French, Aussie, US, and Spanish wines for purchase. prices about equal to US retail or less.
Place is 'over staffed' as per US standards. There was never a want for service, and they made sure that all needs were taken. |
