I will be trapped in Manchester for two weeks of training. Anybody have any wine or dining recommendations. I will not have a car, which is a good thing...so only places that I could get to by taxi.

Sadly, don't know any decent Manchester Restaurants personally but the place is packed with all kinds of life. I could find some stuff out for you though. When are you going to be there and where are you staying?

i will be there from Feb 20-March 5...I am staying at the Crowne Plaza near the airport. I am attending a training class at our Manchester office. The company provides transport to and from the office so I will not have a car, but could take a taxi. Thanks

i was there about 29 years ago. i do remember duck was a big item on the menus.
