Will be in Napa/Sonoma Oct 2 to 10. Have everything pretty well mapped out. In Napa have appts at:
Pride
Guilliams
Sherwin
Smith Bros.
Trying to get in touch with Paloma.

White Cottage
Neal- hopefully, he has to see about crush responsibilities first
Ladera
O'Saaughnessy

Lewelling
David Arthur
Baile

Will stop by Elyse, Havens,

In Sonoma Valley, one day in Russian River, one day in Dry Creek, one day in Alexander Valley, will call these place day of or day before.

Any suggestions? Thanks

jenman... we're hitting a lot of the same spots a mere 2 weeks before you do.
Unfortunately, you leave the day we get back!

We've got Siduri scheduled. I talked to Michael Browne of Kosta Browne, and I'll be calling him when we get there. Due to the time of year, he was (understandibly) hesitant to commit to a specific date for a visit so far in advance. I got the same type of response from Pax!

I'll make the same suggestion I do to lots of these threads: Vintner's collective in Napa. Its open later than most tasting rooms, and represents quite a few different wineries (about 10 I believe).

Other places: Jarvis is the single most impressive tasting experience -- someone here described it as Disney meets napa. Guilliams is great, and just down the hill from Pride & Paloma. Bressler is great as well

Many many threads on this topic. Make sure to hit Taylors Refresher!

For Sonoma: A. Rafanelli, Siduri, J, De La Montanya.

Check outthis thread for a write up of our recent trip.

Your Napa trip sounds perfect. Keep in mind the David Arthur tasting will be very long and you might not want to go anywhere afterward.

You all better post impressions of your visits to these places. I am slowly starting to percolate on what I might do out yonder next April.
