Heading to SF/Napa again over the Labor Day weekend. We arrive at SFO late morning on Friday, 9/3 and would like to eat lunch at the best Sushi spot on the way to Napa (i.e. SF, Sausalito, etc).

Based on a Citysearch read, the following have strong write-ups:

Osaka Sushi (460 Castro)
Sushi Groove South (1516 Folsom)
Ebisu (1283 Ninth Ave)
Tokyo Go Go (3174 16t St)

However, I know better than to rely solely on Citysearch. Can folks recommend the best sushi in the area? Remember, we'd like it to be relatively convenient to getting to Napa right after lunch.

TIA!

Oh no, just got an email account. Once you have it, then you can invite other people to use gmail. However, the rate of inviting people is limited; I probably can't invite anymore for another 24 hours.

Google is trying to hire me, but I think I'm pretty happy here at ebay. One of the few times I've got two good choices.

I'd go to Sushi Ran in Sausalito.

Per Zagat Sushi Ran has the best food. Next is Kirala (Berkeley), Kabuto Sushi, Hana (Rohnert park!?!?( then Ebisu, Grandeho's Kamekyo, and Deep Sushi.
I don't want to start a heated argument, but I generally agree with Zagat ratings

If you go to Berkeley and check out Kirala be prepared to wait. While the food may be good the service is slow.

We had sushi in a number of places in Japantown with no disappointments. It'd be hard to make a mistake there.

Any good sushi place is only going to be as good as the fish brought in that day or the day before. Even the best ones may only be "good" because of that. Go with the best recommendations and you know that you will at least get a good meal.
