For those of the DC Cru who remember the great offline we had at Gabriel, Tony Burrell is now the Chef de Cusine at Bistro Bis. I'd suggest an offline there, but they limit corkage to two bottles per table. But it is worth going to get a meal when you are looking for a place to eat dinner when it is just the two of you.

I talked to the restaurant. They will check with the Chef Buben (the chef/owner) and see if he is willing to work something out. I told them it would probably be sometime the week of September 20. It would be great if they can work something for us, but I'm not holding my breath. However, until I do hear back, I think I'll hold off on setting up the September DC Cru dinner.
