2006 Bodega Colome Malbec Estate - Argentina, Salta, Calchaquies (11/29/2008)

Tasted November 29, 2008 at a retail tasting.

Purple to crimson color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of smoke, plum and boysenberry. Rich, almost jammy like fruits on the palate with flavors of berries, boysenberry, plum and cassis. Medium acidity, medium to firm tannins, medium to full bodied. Drink over the short to medium term. (91 pts.)
