Popped and poured. Purple in glass. Nice aromas of blackberry, coffee, herbs, and, for lack of a better term, "Chilean earth-funk." Medium body, this wine seems slightly more superficial on the palate, with notes of jammy fruit, bitter dark chocolate, and bell pepper. Tannins are supple and in check with the acidity. May need another year in bottle to fully express itself. No matter what, this wine is always a very nice QPR selection. (87 pts.)

Similar to my previous TN but showed better than last time, probably due to 3 hour aeration. Definitely recommend some aeration before drinking this one. (88 pts.) Posted from CellarTracker | | | |
