Deep pruple. Nose of blackberry, leather, smoke, and cherry. Follows through in the mouth. Felt a little think and harsh(High Tannins?). Good finish.

Didn't notice the tannins so much. When you think Malbecs you think steaks, but try it with pizza-works well.

This was unlike Malbecs I've had in the past. The Norton and Catena have both been more lush and smooth. This one was thick and tannic. We popped and poured this one and it got consumed fairly quickly. Maybe it didn't have enought time to integrate everyting and become a little more round.
