Decanted ½ hr. Rich nose of black fruit, cassis with a hint of clove and cherry. Predominately thick, dense, cassis and black fruits with a streak of black cherry flavors carry over onto the palate with some spice and faint minty undertones set in a sturdy oak frame which settles into a mocha quality the longer it’s decanted. Full bodied with strong, but smooth tannins. Finish is medium to short and opens up a bit. S90 10/11/2005
