52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot, 7% Petit Verdot, 5% Cabernet Franc, 3% Malbec.

Dark ruby/burgundy colour. Very Bordeaux-like on the nose. Aromas of cedar, spice box, tobacco, grilled meat. Medium-full bodied, with cedar, spearmint, cherry, earth. Integrated tannins. Moderate finish, 30s, with red fruit. Drink over the next three years. 91-92 points (02/24/2005).

Good job futuronic, I've been looking for a tasting note for this one for a while.
Do you think it only has another 3 years in it though?
What kind of price did you get on this, or was it at a tasting?
Is this one of the best SA red's that you have tasted, if not what else can you recommend.

One of the members of the Toronto Wine Cru brought this to a dinner we had. Since there were only 7-8 of us, we got a pretty decent pour.

I really enjoyed the wine, and think it does have the life to last another three years - although there's no reason to hold it. The wine is ready to drink. I don't really drink many South African wines, but this is hands down the best one I've had to date.

I think the wine was somewhere in the $80-90CAD price range. Not sure, exactly.
