From the Colchagua Valley--Chile

Dark purple in color. Not quite black. On the nose there is new leather and tight blackberry. On the palate this wine shows very nice fruit. Kind of like a California Zinfandel and a Syrah mixed (could that be?) Here's the good part. The black fruit flavors keep on pumping out clean delicious flavors all the way to the medium short finish.. I must admit I was not expecting much. This was only $5.99. Very good with New York steak.
